White vinegar is the miracle ingredient. Multi-purpose, inexpensive and natural, it should have a place in your cupboards. As proof, you can even use it to clean your mattress. To do this, mix 500 ml of white vinegar with 200 ml of warm water and 2 tablespoons of washing-up liquid. Sift the entire surface of the mattress with a sponge, paying particular attention to the stains, but without rubbing too hard. For rinsing, use the same technique as for ammonia and soda crystals: nothing beats a damp flannel or damp cloth. Leave to dry and admire the result. Another natural cleaning essential, bicarbonate can also come to your aid if you're faced with stains on your mattress. Combined with hydrogen peroxide, it can work wonders! Mix half a litre of 3% hydrogen peroxide with 4 tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda;Add a drop of washing-up liquid. After mixing well, pour it into a spray bottle.
